Continuity assessment - part 2

Working from memory, and using my pictures and notes from the previous week as guidance, I recreated the same look for continuity. I felt that I styled the hair and applied  the make-up all the same, and was pleased with how similar it looked. I matched the bruising, yellow tint wrinkles, facial hair and hollowed cheekbones well, although the wound on the cheek turned out a little smaller.
On reflection, the images do look slightly different. The colours look more vibrant - although I think that was due to the lighting/camera set-up being slightly altered. I did notice how the hair looks changed. In hindsight, I should have prepared the hair beforehand so that both weeks it had the same amount of volume and texture, as in the second half of the assessment my model's hair was more bouncy, meaning despite placing the hair in the same way, it looked different, especially from the back.

Continuity is difficult! Despite keeping my design simple, being organised with my products, keeping careful notes and taking photos, and working well within the time limit, there are still improvements I could have made. The hair is what I feel looked most different, followed by the slight move in placement of the wound. Overall, however, I am pleased with my performance during this assessment. I thought I worked professionally and to the best of my ability, and the photos do not look outstandingly different!
